本剧改编自同名漫画，讲述了拥有特殊经历的古怪原律师，现遗产继承专业侦探灰江七生（赤楚卫二 饰），个性倔强却以高度的知性为武器，与个性丰富的伙伴们协力挑战复杂的遗产继承问题，在尊重死者遗志的同时，用生动的推理痛快地解开围绕遗产的家族纠纷和隐藏的真相。
