今年5月播出的《TXQ FICTION》第一弹『イシナガキクエを探しています』每次播出都在X上登上日本热搜榜首，引发广泛讨论，成为话题之作。第二弹『飯沼一家に謝罪します』继承了第一弹的制作团队，继续由大森时生负责制作，他曾策划过2024年夏季吸引7万观众的『行方不明展』和『このテープもってないですか？』等展览。制作团队还包括参与过『ゾゾゾ』和『伪纪录片Q』的皆口大地，参与过『伪纪录片Q』和『通灵录像带』的寺内康太郎，以及获得第二届日本恐怖电影奖的近藤亮太，他的新作『失踪儿童录像带』将在2025年1月24日公映。
本作改编自同名漫画《完美世界》。因为遭遇事故而下身残疾，只能依靠轮椅生活的主人公鮎川樹（松坂桃李），在同学会上和高中同学川奈つぐみ（山本美月）再会。在心动之后，两人却要直面双亲的反对、疾病与伤痛、生活上的障碍、以及残疾所带来的并发症等等问题。「究竟什么是幸福？」两人会做出怎样的选择呢？
