改编自タイム凉介的漫画《70岁的初产》《70岁的梦》。65岁的老人朝一（小日向文世饰演）退休后回到家，却被70岁的妻子夕子（竹下景子饰演）告知自己怀孕了。朝一难以接受这个事实，两个人去了妇产科确诊发现夕子确实怀孕了。一辈子没有孩子的夕子想把这个孩子生下来，虽然她干劲十足，但是超高龄生孩子风险很大……

樱井信一（阿部隆史饰）深爱着妻子香夏子（深田恭子饰），虽然两人都只有初中的学历，初中一毕业就踏入了残酷的社会，但他们的婚姻里充满了理解和包容，家庭氛围十分和谐幸福。信一是一名业务员，一直以来，他都认为干这一行最重要的并非学历而是口才，直到有一天，自己负责指导的新人楢崎哲也（风间俊介饰）竟然凭借着他的高学历抢走了信一苦心经营的客人。不仅如此，信一的女儿佳织（山田美红羽饰）学习成绩非常糟糕，老师预言她可能考不上初中。痛定思痛的信一决定帮女儿报一个补习班，结果补习班的老师不愿意接收佳织。无奈之下，信一决定亲自教导佳织，然而，只有初中学历的信一，该如何帮助女儿考上精英初中呢？
