本片讲述偶然地目击到杀手事件现场并逃离现场的过程，但却因事故失去记忆，忘记自己是谁，当看到自己手上的日记有著杀人过程的详细资料，以为自己是变态连续杀人犯的故事。
这是一部跨越年代的爱情故事，灵感来源于宇多田光的两首知名金曲《FirstLove》(1999)和《初恋》(2018)。两个少年在90年代末第一次坠入爱河；二十年后，一位即将订婚，而另一位则已离婚，与初涉情网的十几岁的儿子一起生活。
